Job Description
Responsible for creating a positive public image for URC and overseeing the drafting and editing of press releases. Additional responsibilities include liaising with media, organizing events and press conferences, and maintaining relationships with clients and key stakeholders
Skill Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, media, or public relation is preferred
- Strong English and Arabic language skills
- 5-8 years of relevant experience
Responsibilities
- nAssists the line manager in planning and executing department public relation plans.
- Drafts press releases, pitches, case studies, white papers, and media summaries.
- Assists and works with the subsidiaries' marketing departments and advises them on their campaigns.
- Builds relationships with new media contacts and maintain relationships with existing contacts.
- Executes media requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Pitches story ideas and content to the team for further development.
- Ensures all communication is cohesive with the brand image.
- Tracks and analyses media coverage to inform future campaigns.
- Measures PR program impacts using regular reporting.
- Organizes, schedules, and prepares key leaders for press interviews.
- Implements, and tracks marketing programs such as email, social media, or digital campaigns, and events.
- Analyses and reports on the performance and efficiency of campaigns Develops and monitors strategic advertising initiatives.
- Conduct market research and analyses trends to identify new advertising opportunities.
- Writes, proofreads, and edits creative and technical content across different mediums.
- Work with external agencies and vendors to execute advertising programs. Work on the monthly company newsletter content and develop it with the team
