Job Description
Responsible for handling the following: Greeting visitors, accepting deliveries and handling incoming calls, and operating a switchboard; in addition to maintaining office directories
Skill Requirements
- High School or diploma in business administration or any related field
- Strong English and Arabic Language skills; written and spoken
- 1-3 years experience in an administrative role is required
- Ability to organize, prioritize, multitask, be flexible and meet deadlines.
- Must have proficient arithmetic skills to handle payments
- Basic computer skills including spreadsheets, data programs and PowerPoint
Responsibilities
- Answers and directs phone calls in a polite and friendly manner
- Welcomes visitors in a warm and friendly manner, and answers any questions visitors have
- Maintains reception area and all common areas in a clean and tidy manner at all times
- Operates standard office equipment on a regular basis, including a fax machine, a copy machine, and a computer
- Keeps detailed and accurate records of visitor requests and calls received
- Receives deliveries; sorts and distributes incoming mail
- Takes inventory of supplies and restocks as needed
- Maintains the general office filing system
