Job Description

To provide support to the department team in matters concerning design and design standard conformance, in a manner that will ensure meeting the project objectives and advance the organization to its full potential. The jobholder will provide inputs in the development process from technical point of view and will implement the policies for the management of projects, and other areas according to the jobholder’s assigned responsibilities.

Skill Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
  • English is essential, Arabic is an added advantage
  • 8 - 10 years of post-qualification experience
  • Preferably in Real Estate Sector and consultancy
  • Proven track record of leading an advisory team with similar scope
Responsibilities

  • Assist to prepare high level concepts for the projects within the program of the Department and the Company.
  • Assist in carrying out peer review of designs submitted by the Consultant(s) and ensure that the project objectives are understood and well represented in the design.
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining, technical standards and performance specifications for the range of products developed under the program of the department and the company.
  • Assist in preparing sketches and details to explain the design intents of the project.
  • Assist in evaluating design consultant(s) firms.
  • Assist in reviewing and evaluating proposals submitted by design consultants.
  • Assist in reviewing and evaluating design competitions.
  • Assist in the preparation of Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP)
  • Assist in taking off quantities.
  • Assist in reviewing and interpreting studies, reports, surveys and identify the information required for incorporation in the RFP.
  • Assist in the preparation of marketing material.
  • Assist in providing technical reviews and recommendations during construction.
  • Assist, if called for, to inspect the works from stage to stage during the construction stage and at completion to ensure that the project design intents have been achieved.
  • Assist in value engineering.
