United Real Estate Company (URC) Successfully Concludes its Sponsorship of “GIG Battle Fitness Festival” Promoting Health & Wellness in Kuwait

United Real Estate Company (URC), a leading real estate developer in Kuwait and the MENA region, was the main sponsor of the “GIG Battle” sports tournament 2022, held from 2 to 3 December at Green Island.

The event falls in line with URC’s corporate social responsibility objectives of supporting the community’s youth and promoting health and wellness. In addition to promoting fitness, the tournament was also a social event, reflecting URC’s core value of building communities.

Launched in 2013 by Circuit+ CrossFit, Battle of the East (B0E) is the most recognized and respected event of its kind in the Middle East and Asia. The battle takes place in Kuwait annually and draws athletes from all over the MENA, as well as international athletes from Europe and the USA.

Alongside sponsoring the tournament at Green Island, URC also held its own event at the Hessah District Pavilion, in partnership with Street 965, the number one street car community in Kuwait and the GCC. Forty high-end premier cars were on display at the Pavilion which was the main draw. Other activities and competitions on the sidelines added to the excitement. The food stations also provided an enjoyable gastronomic experience for the visitors.

URC went the distance to make sure that every experience at the event was unique and exceptional, while promoting Kuwaiti products and services on track with its larger vision of supporting the local businesses.

This year, Battle of the East attracted more than 2,500 local and international athletes. Further, URC hosted an array of fitness challenges in its booth during the event, in which visitors of all ages participated for a chance to win a title.
