URC is established by an Amiri Decree.

Bibi Residential Complex is developed in Dai’ya, Kuwait.
1978
Souq Al Maseel is developed in Kuwait City.
1979

Anwar Al Sabah Residential Complex is developed in Kuwait City.
1984
URC is listed on the Kuwait Stock Exchange. Al-Rehab Complex is developed in Hawally, Kuwait.
1986
Completion of construction work on the Grand Mosque of Kuwait.
1997
Marina World is developed in Salmiya, and Saleh Shebab is developed in Julia’a, Kuwait.
2000
United Realty Company Renamed United Real Estate Company.
2001
First developer to earn a BBB- bond rating from Capital Intelligence Ratings.
2002
City Tower in Kuwait City is acquired.
2003
Marina Crescent opens in Marina World.
2006
Bhamdoun Hotel is developed in Lebanon.
2009
Fairmont Hotel Cairo is developed in Egypt.
UFM is established.
Work Commences on Abdali Mall, Jordan.
Aswar Residences are developed in Egypt and Raouche View 1090 is developed in Lebanon.
2010
KIPCO Tower is completed.
100% ownership is achieved in Raouche View 1090 in Lebanon.
2013
Gardens Mall and Salalah Gardens Hotel are inaugurated in Oman.
An $80 Million Loan Secured for Abdali Mall.
2014
Abdali Boulevard is inaugurated in Jordan.
2015
Raouche View 1090 is completed in Lebanon, and a 2 million square foot development is acquired in Marrakech, Morocco.
2016
Abdali Mall is inaugurated in Jordan, and Aswar Residences are completed in New Cairo, Egypt.
2017
URC acquires a 40% stake in Insha'a Holding and acquires land plots in the Hessah AlMubarak District.
Completion of the Late Salwa Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah Stem Cell and Umbilical Cord Center, Kuwait.
2018
Construction commences on Hessah Towers in Hessah AlMubarak District, and 100% ownership is achieved in Abdali Mall.
URC successfully issues five-year bonds worth KD 60 million.
2019
URC signs a deal with Marriott International for the introduction of St. Regis Marrakech in Assoufid, Morocco.
2020
Byout Hessah launches in Hessah AlMubarak District, and infrastructure works commence for the second phase of the development in Assoufid, Morocco.
2021
The “Commercial District” within Hessah AlMubarak District launches.
URC completes infrastructure works to launch the construction of St. Regis Marrakech Resort and its branded residences at the Assoufid development in Marrakech, Morocco.
2026
URC signs a contract to redesign and develop the waterfront project – Phase Three, Sharq.
URC launches its new brand identity.

Assoufid Group
Assoufid Group operates through real estate and service entities for the Assoufid Development Project located in Marrakech, the Kingdom of Morocco. Assoufid Group is owned by Assoufid B.V. (ABV), a private company registered in the Netherland. ABV is a subsidiary of United Real Estate Company (URC), in which URC owns a 49% stake, and oversees development and management on behalf of the Group.
